In recent years, I’ve heard a lot about the promises God has made to the modern nation of Israel. When I started doing a little research on these claims, it appeared all the claims seemed to believe that the promises made to Abraham in the Bible applied today to the modern nation of Israel or the Jewish people as a whole. This seemed logical to me but my questions were many. What are these promises? Why do we believe they apply to modern Israel? Why and how do promises to Abraham apply to all his descendants for all time. Does this even make sense.
Today, the promise that the whole world would be blessed through Abraham.
Today let’s look at the Bible account of Abraham, to see what promises God made to Abraham.
